In this collection I have broken my rules of the past seasons. I strongly believe in a new softened proportion avoiding structured tailoring and construction of the past seasons.
Creating volume on top and fit around the hip area tops, dresses and coats have a relaxed feel and simple ease still emphasizing the female sensuality. The kimono, batwing or new square raglan dominate the collection and the occasional set in sleeve has a deconstructed feel through new open necklines or soft drape.
All fabrications have a modern feels-like-a-knit quality to even further emphasize this sense of minimalist comfort.
Jersey netting, gauzes, and laces are skillfully layered and work well in neoclassic draping of a pretty fluted dress silhouette.
The collection proposes new dress and coat combination which recall the way women used to dress in the sixties, but in a new completely modernized way thinking more about the active, independent, multitasking and executive woman of today.
The new batwing reversible dress with reversible cuffs is a key piece of the collection with a post modern simplicity.
I played with my signature raise dart details double sleeve constructions, high-waisted skirts and pants and was so involved in the creation of a futuristic but timeless wardrobe that it became the theme of this collection.
